NVDRS tape

“No matter how much we progress as far as technology is concerned, we always look back towards retro stalwarts for inspiration in the designing field.” This disguised as a tape digital player can store up to 45, 60 or 90 minutes of carefully chosen songs in digital format. “Conscious song choice is much relevant when trying to give music its original meaning. For this reason an mp3 player should not have oversized memory: 45/60/90 minutes provide the right amount of time. Short storage capacity becomes a value as it makes room for just few accurately chosen songs, avoiding thousands of them we wouldn’t ever listen.” Tracks are uploaded via USB and in order to charge its kinetic battery or to forward-rewind a song, you have to rotate one of the tape’s holes, just like when you were a ‘90s kid!
