Sweet tides

There is this mail that every few months keeps coming back to me, a mail about some world statistics, like for example if earth was like a city of 100 people how many of them would be from each continent, what percentage of them would be educated or would have a meal waiting for them daily etc, percentages accompanied by some cute images making them less grave. Anyway, at the end of this mail, there is this quote that every time that I read it, I find it really hopeful(even though some people may think that it's a bit corny). It goes like that: 
Work like you don't need the money, 
love like you've never been hurt before, 
dance like no one's watching, 
sing like no one's listening,
live like as if earth was the paradise. 

Thinking of that I always find it liberating when I can start dancing like no one's is looking, actually I think that there are sometimes that no one is really looking and everyone is dancing for themselves and then no one cares if you are just jumping around doing more than a shy boring dance. There are sometimes that you can sing and even if someone is there with you, you are not afraid if you sound funny or not, it's just a nice song and you like singing it. It's better thinking that you are not obligated to work but you are doing it because you want to do something, to create something on your own and you can't stop until you are satisfied with the result, not because you will be paid depending on the quality of your work but because you don't want to stop! I am not sure though if it is that possible to ignore the fact that you still need the money but maybe if you think that earth is the paradise for one day then you can live at least this day without caring about what you have to do and maybe love like you've never been hurt before(unless if you think that you have to fall in love like you've never been hurt before, so you could just find something else to do with your free day!). 

Anyway, concluding(and making the subject lighter) I found two last things relevant to this post earlier, the one is the cowboyish song below and the other is this other version of the quote that I was writing about: 
"May you work like you don't need the money, love like you've never been hurt, dance like no one is watching, screw like it's being filmed, and drink like a true Irishman!" Viva!
